My Story
My Story
From six years in a recliner to a life lived under open skies.
The recliner years
Six years I didn’t plan for
Chronic pain changed the shape of my days. For six years, my recliner became the place where I rested, recovered, and wondered whether the life I loved was still possible.
I learned to measure progress differently: a little more energy, a little more courage, one small yes at a time.

The turning point
The night everything changed
I didn’t find healing in a clinic. I found it under the stars.
Then came a night beneath the stars. The air was cool, the campsite was quiet, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like myself again.
Glamping did not erase my pain. It gave me a way to move through life with it — with comfort, beauty, and a whole lot more possibility.
The Glamping Glamma
Why I call myself the Glamping Glamma
At 52, I’m a grandmother with a love for moonlit campsites, a good outfit, and making the outdoors feel a little more luxurious.
“Glamma” is my reminder that becoming a grandmother did not mean becoming smaller. It means I get to bring more wisdom, more sparkle, and more stories to every adventure.
I created this space for anyone who wants to live boldly in the body they have today — especially women navigating chronic pain, illness, or a season of starting over.
